A thought provoking, eye opening read

The author reveals very interesting statistics about the realities of our global economy backed up with interpretation of what it means for our country and the world. His unique perspective of both business and Peace Corps backgrounds allows him to speak from both viewpoints, lending credibility to his words. He clearly states biases and makes eye-opening recommendations about where we could/should go from here to launch the world and the US on a better path for the 21s t century. A must read.

Having worked in consulting and outsourcing for fifteen years, I thought Phillips's analysis was one of the clearest and best reasoned that I have ever read. While some may argue about the remedies presented, this is an outstanding primer on the subject for anyone serious about grappling with the issues presented by outsourcing.
